News and Suggested work for 8-12th June

Hello again everyone,

Firstly, apologies for the mix up in my dates on the work last week. I was getting ahead of myself.

On Monday 15th June,  all book rental books and school boxes are to be  returned to the school between 10:00am – 2:00 pm. The main school door will be left open for this purpose and the boxes of books can be left on the tables inside the door. Please continue to observe social distancing.

There are some school jumpers and lost property left in the school. These will be left on the benches inside the main door for people to check on June 15th.

On Friday 19th June, the 6th class will be getting a chance to say goodbye to the school from 11-12pm while socially distancing. I will be in contact nearer the time about this.

The suggested work for the Senior Room is below. Please click on the link for your class.

If you need to contact us for any reason, please email the school at [email protected].

Have a good week.

Senior Room Suggested activities 25th May-29th May

Hello everyone,

I hope you are all keeping well and safe. Well done to all who have completed work and sent it to me via email and through Seesaw. I intend to collect your copies  this Friday 29th and Monday 31st May to correct work I have not seen or work you would like me to look over. Please don’t be under pressure to complete everything. The main school door will be open from 12-2pm these days and you can leave the copies on the tables and bench in the hallway.

I will be in the school on Monday, 25th May and will ring all parents from my class to check in and answer any queries you may have. If you want to talk to me, please do.

Below are the links to the work for this week for the Senior Room.  As stated before, try and do what you can. I understand it’s difficult being away from the school for so long and not getting to catch up with your friends.

Take care

Ms Campion

Dear students and parents/guardians

I hope you  are all keeping well and safe. It’s hard to believe we are nearly in the middle of May and Covid 19 is still interrupting all we do.

Thanks to all who are using Seesaw.  It’s great to be able to see some of your work. Please feel free to take photos of y any of your work and I can look over them and send on the answers then. I upload an activity daily on Seesaw if you want to try it out. I loved seeing your efforts at drawing the puppy last week.

If you are having problems in any area, please contact me via the school email [email protected] or through Seesaw.

Have a good week everybody and stay safe.

Regards

Ms Campion

Dear Parents/Guardians,

I hope you are all keeping well and are enjoying the lovely weather we have had. As you are all aware, it was announced on Friday by The Taoiseach that schools would not re-open until September/October.

While this is undoubtedly a shock to us all, we must prevail and do what we have to do in order to keep everyone safe. As a result, home-schooling will continue as before but please only do what you can with your child. People are stressed out and under pressure, so if there are days you don’t get school work done, please don’t put more pressure on yourself or your child.

No child is behind, they are where they are meant to be! We will get everyone back up to speed when we return. If you can get them to do some schoolwork, that’s brilliant. If you can’t, that’s ok too.

Just do what you can.
