I hope you are all keeping well and are enjoying the lovely weather we have had. As you are all aware, it was announced on Friday by The Taoiseach that schools would not re-open until September/October.
While this is undoubtedly a shock to us all, we must prevail and do what we have to do in order to keep everyone safe. As a result, home-schooling will continue as before but please only do what you can with your child. People are stressed out and under pressure, so if there are days you don’t get school work done, please don’t put more pressure on yourself or your child.
No child is behind, they are where they are meant to be! We will get everyone back up to speed when we return. If you can get them to do some schoolwork, that’s brilliant. If you can’t, that’s ok too.
Just do what you can.
